Our dedicated team works tirelessly to provide exceptional services to clients throughout the Chicagoland area**Position Overview**:**Key Responsibilities**:- Perform detailed material takeoffs for various construction projects, focusing on insulation and related materials.- Develop accurate and comprehensive cost estimates based on project specifications, drawings, and blueprints.- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to gather necessary information and ensure alignment on project requirements.- Analyze and interpret construction plans and specifications to identify material and labor requirements.- Prepare and present detailed reports, including cost breakdowns and summaries, to support project planning and decision-making.- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and construction techniques relevant to insulation and energy efficiency.- Utilize industry-standard software and tools to perform takeoffs and estimations accurately and efficiently.- Ensure all estimates comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.- Provide support and expertise in value engineering and cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.**Qualifications**:- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction estimating and material takeoffs, preferably within the insulation industry.- Proven experience working with American construction companies and familiarity with U.S. construction codes and standards.- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.- Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with exceptional attention to detail.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and contractors.- Proficiency in using construction estimation software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar tools).- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting, managing time and tasks efficiently.- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.**Benefits**:- Flexible remote work environment.- Supportive and collaborative team culture focused on sustainability and innovation.**How to Apply**:**Green Attic Insulation is an equal opportunity employer.
