We are seeking a Senior Accountant to be an integral part of our finance team working alongside the Controller. This position is ideal for someone who is ambitious, hardworking, enjoys problem-solving, and who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get into the details. Most importantly, you will see your insights have an immediate, tangible impact every day in a well-funded and rapidly growing company.**Responsibilities**- Assist the team in preparing month end journal entries and financial deliverables for multiple entities.- Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations and A/P expense reporting across multiple currencies.- Manage intercompany transactions and related FX implications.- Work directly with the Controller to consolidate and produce accurate and timely financial statements.- Work alongside our external accountants in regards to any regulatory items for our MX entity.- Assist in the payment and reconciliation of payroll related accounts in MX.- Provide support for the Company’s external audits and tax preparation- Assist with the continuous improvement of processes- Assist with special projects and ad-hoc requests, as necessary**Requirements**:- Banking, Lending or Customer Financing Experience (highly preferred)- Prior startup experience (preferred)- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting- 3 years of relevant work experience- Extremely detail-oriented; critical thinker- Goal-driven, focused, independent worker, and “can-do” attitude- Proficiency in Netsuite and Excel- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (in English and Spanish)**Benefits**- Competitive salary- Mexican Legal Compliant Benefits- Major Medical Expenses (Includes Vision and Dental)- Minor Medical Expenses- Life Insurance- Monthly transportation stipend- Monthly cell phone stipend- Professional Development Support- Employee Referral Bonus
