Role Overview The Vice President of Sales is a senior leadership role responsible for owning and scaling Pearl Talent’s entire sales and business development function. This role drives net‑new client acquisition, improves funnel conversion, and builds a repeatable, high‑performing sales engine. You will lead and coach Pearl’s SDRs and AEs, remain hands‑on in closing deals, and continuously optimize sales strategy through data and experimentation. Your Impact Directly drive Pearl Talent’s ARR growth by increasing lead‑to‑sale conversion rates and closing new client accounts. Elevate sales execution, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline health; build scalable sales processes for consistent, predictable revenue; and maintain a white‑glove experience for our clients. Areas of Responsibility Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth Own Pearl Talent’s full sales funnel. Improve lead‑to‑sale conversion rates. Close high‑value client deals. Launch and test new outbound and inbound initiatives. Team Leadership & Coaching Build, train, and manage a high‑performance internal sales team. Conduct regular 1:1s, call reviews, and performance coaching. Run daily or weekly team enablement and learning sessions. Develop SDRs into strong closers through structured training. Process, Systems & Optimization Own CRM accuracy, pipeline management, and reporting. Refine sales playbooks, SOPs, workflows, and qualification frameworks. Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies across the sales process. Implement data‑driven improvements to sales execution. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Partner with marketing to align lead generation and campaigns. Collaborate with operations and client success for smooth onboarding. Maintain a premium sales experience for our clients. Requirements Must‑Haves 5+ years of B2B sales or revenue leadership. Proven track record of driving net‑new client acquisition. Experience managing and scaling internal sales teams. Strong understanding of funnel metrics, conversion optimization, and pipeline management. Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. Ability to work full‑time during US Eastern Time hours. High ownership mindset and comfort operating in fast‑paced environments. HubSpot (or equivalent CRM), Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom. Nice‑to‑Haves Experience in recruitment, staffing, or talent marketplaces. Background in startups or high‑growth companies.
