After closing a seed round of 5.5. million USD in July 2024, Aviva is looking for a Head of Sales to lead and build a high-performing sales org all across Mexico.As Head of Sales you own a core pillar of Aviva’s go-to-market strategy, as our sales teams function as the pioneers and the “human bridge” that bring premium financial services to non-metropolitan communities.

Apart from leading our team of branch managers, you act as a major stakeholder in our mission to build the sales org of the future: We hired a product and BI team to put 100% of administrative sales leadership tasks on autopilot and to create the most engaging frontline seller experience worldwide (e.g. VR-powered sales training and automated real-time feedback on sales metrics).

Responsibilities

  • Own the sales goals of Aviva’s kiosks and report directly to our co-founder and Chief Growth Officer
  • Act as direct manager of Aviva’s kiosk sales team: hire, train, coach and manage our branch managers
  • Champion and implement Aviva’s culture within a diverse and geographically distributed sales team
  • Collaborate closely with our sales operations team and co-lead Aviva’s mission to build the sales org of the future
  • Regularly visit our kiosks to oversee sales performance in the field

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing high-performing sales teams
  • Demonstrated ability to increase sellers’ productivity and hit sales targets
  • Excellent people manager with the ability to realize the full potential of sales teams
  • Experience managing face-to-face sales, ideally to consumers or small businesses
  • Customer-oriented and impact-focused mindset
  • Familiar with contemporary CRMs and other latest-gen sales tools
  • Needs for travel can vary between 1 and 4 days per week, you are likely to average about 2-3 days per week
  • Fluent Spanish
