The Advanced Projects Specialist is primarily focused on conveyor systems that will be implemented in future Vehicle Process Engineering launches. They will be responsible to support the feasibility of these projects, to include: financial requirements, preparation of projects, conveyor architecture, cost estimation, full-time equivalent planning (resource allocation), development of engineering strategies and tracking progress of Vehicle Process Engineering launches. This includes the areas of Conveyor, Automation, Robotics and Facilities in BIW, GA and Paint. This position will work towards the goals of Capex reduction, asset reutilization, asset procurement and engineering design. They will be supporting the Advance Specialist Manager in leading a cross functional team in meeting the goals and strategies of Stellantis Vehicle Process Engineering.**Job responsibilities include but are not limited to**:The Advanced Projects Specialist responsibilities are to support feasibility of future program launches:**Feasibility of these projects, to include**:financial requirementspreparation of projectsconveyor architecturecost estimationfull-time equivalent planning (resource allocation)development of engineering strategies**Dashboard Development**: tracking progress of VPE Advanced Projects.Support Capex reduction initiatives.Support & m aintain all aspects of Con veyor Standards and Specifications.Project ManagementSupport in monitoring project timing in Advanced Phase of projectsWork with PreStudy group on Plant Studies and Want to Be proposalsDevelopment of Digital Dashboards utilizing Power BI toolsBachelor's degree or HSD with 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing & manufacturing engineering environmentMinimum 5+ years of engineering experience in project management**Preferred Qualifications**:Experience in forecasting and estimating cost for projectsStrong understanding of Conveyor machine and processInnovative thinker with excellent organizational and project management skillsDemonstrated leadership and communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Access, Outlook and SQL)Self-directed and motivated to implement change within the direction and scope of Stellantis Senior ManagementProgram Management & GVD timingMicrosoft 365 Tools including Power BIOur benefits reflects the FCA commitment to helping you reach your personal and professional goals.
