Join our global team of 19,000 people in 45 countries, and start helping our customers push the limits of what's possible in their world of motion.**Purpose and Scope**- To assist in accounting projects to analyze potential and executed transactions, new accounting standards, accounting policy management and participate in special projects therefore has to consult with other functions and finance areas on accounting determinations prior to the execution of certain transactions and help with the timely and accurate communication of accounting treatment of potential transactions.**Responsibilities**- Analyze accounting transactions and information to summarize current financial position.- Evaluate, certify, and coordinate ledger entries in adherence to rules, while guaranteeing that monthly closing activities are accomplished promptly and accurately.- Responsible for providing EY information for monthly tax and annual filings for federal taxes (VAT & Income Tax) and local contributions (payroll tax).- Capture, track, and report revenue and expenses; determine appropriate procedures for accounting record preparation, research of transactions and reporting.- Oversee, reconcile, and report to Plant Controller problems relative to complicated accounts and general accounting matters.- Support compliance with internal controls in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley.- Responds to inquiries from internal and external auditors.- Prepare and record journal entries and reconciliations and make necessary corrections to ensure the accuracy of our accounting system.- Organize tax records and prepared documents for annual independent statutory audit.**Technical/Functional Skills**- Hands on experience utilizing SAP (FI/CO, MM).- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.- Strong sense of urgency and a proven ability to get the job done. Excellent organizational skills.- Ability to work with all levels of management and comfortable in a cross functional team environment.- Able to manage priorities and workflow - multi-task oriented.- Strong interpersonal communication skills.- Advanced knowledge in accounting principle.**Education / Experience**- Required - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with 5+ years of related experience as a General Accounting.- All qualified applicants shall be treated equally according to their individual qualifications, abilities, experiences and other employment standards.
