Job ScopeWe are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic people who want to enter the mining industry as a Global Inventory Analyst in our Pumps, Cyclones, and Valves Global Product Management. Product Management must manage and track the effectiveness of strategies globally for inventory. To do this, we need Inventory Analysts to support and drive our regional SIOP process, collect and validate global information, create live reporting, and execute our global stocking strategies. Working with sales, inventory, and operations personnel the analyst will drive results ensuring we are stocking the right parts in the right places around the globe.How Will You Help Us Achieve This- Utilize Global Replenishment Inventory System calculations to provide recommendations for changes to Reorder Points, Safety Stock, and Min / Max Levels.- Analyze assigned facilities around the globe.- Review of outlier data to ensure correct stocking levels.- Support in the mapping of the install base to support future demand forecasting functions.- Develop demand planning strategies based on regional install base.- Organize monthly Regional SIOP Process meetings.- Run multiple scenarios to support the SIOP team in making critical decisions inventory decisions.- Post review of Capital Projects to plan for future demand based on wear parts in the package.- Champion Slow Moving Inventory Reduction for assigned warehouses.- Understanding of multiple ERP systems (I.E. Aurora, Oracle, SAP, Epicor, etc.)- Collaborate with the PC&V Sales team to create business cases for advanced stocking opportunities.- Deliver monthly regional approved stocking plan to Global Product Management.- Ability to travel as required.What You Bring- Bachelor’s degree related to Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, Mathmatics or a related field of study.- Advanced knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Power Query, Excel, SharePoint, and Access.- Experience writing formulas, functions, and code, and building relational data models.- Effective communication before groups of employees across the organization.- Proactive, self-driven work ethic and the ambition to take full ownership of responsibilities.- Enjoys troubleshooting and the development and implementation of solutions.- Capability of interpreting instructions where only limited standardization may exist.- Desire to continuously learn and develop new and existing skills.- Passion for collaboration, innovation, and taking on challenges in a dynamic environment.What We Offer- Competitive remuneration package on offer.- FLSmidth has 136 years of successful operation within a global environment.- Development and training within a respected global OEM company.- Opportunity to be recognized and rewarded via the FLSmidth United program allowing you to redeem points and purchase a wide range of products.- Purchased annual leave options.- Involvement with community and charity initiatives.- Annual flu vaccination.
