**ABOUT THE ROLE**Join AstraZeneca as a Signals Notebook Configuration Specialist. You will oversee the configuration and management of our electronic laboratory notebook (ELN), ensuring optimal system performance and alignment with our research team's needs while guiding system enhancements and user support.**WHAT YOU'LL DO**- ** Lead System Configuration**: Oversee and manage the configuration and customization of the Signals Notebook system to align with complex research workflows and user requirements, including experiment template creation and management.- ** System Administration Leadership**: Lead routine system administration tasks such as optimizing server configurations, enforcing security protocols, performing regular system health checks, and maintaining system backups and restoration processes to ensure optimal ELN system performance and reliability.- ** System Administration Leadership**: Lead the administration of the Signals Notebook system, working closely with the vendor to ensure system performance, manage service-level agreements (SLAs), coordinate updates and new feature deployments, and oversee security and compliance efforts- ** Strategic Technical Support**: Lead the provision of technical support and training, ensuring effective system use and promoting best practices.- ** User and Access Management**: Oversee user account management, including roles and permissions within the system.- ** Data Management Leadership**: Lead data import/export routines and ensure data integrity.- ** Regulatory Compliance and Audits**: Conduct regular system audits to ensure robust compliance with regulatory standards, recommending improvements.- ** Process Improvement**: Utilize ITIL frameworks, manage support tickets, and facilitate user communication to enhance processes and IT service management.- ** Documentation and Training**: Lead the development and maintenance of comprehensive user guides and training materials for both end users and system administrators.**QUALIFICATIONS****Essential**- Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, Information Systems, or a related field.- Extensive experience in administering electronic laboratory notebooks, with a focus on Signals Notebook. Laboratory information management systems (LIMS) experience is an acceptable alternative.- Strong IT leadership skills, emphasizing user management, sophisticated system configuration, and ITIL practices.- Proven proficiency in creating comprehensive documentation and training materials.- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with fluency in English.**Desired**- Strong familiarity with compliance standards in pharmaceutical research is highly advantageous.**WHY JOIN US**Play a pivotal role in AstraZeneca's digital transformation by centralizing the Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN) in our efforts to enhance research workflows.
