Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differences.**:Oversee all aspects related to operations of a local unit (s) including the full scope of Operations (Project Management & Control, Project Engineering, Manufacturing, Production Engineering, Maintenance, Procurement, Quality, Continuous Improvement, Logistic, Planning & Fulfillment) or a part of that. Ensure strict adherence within the operations to the policies and required standards of health, safety, and integrity.**This position reports to**:HUB Division Manager NAM**Your responsibilities**:- Responsible for developing business action plans for the unit(s) aligned with Process Automation Business Area strategy and targets.- Prepares annual budget, oversees progress, and determines actions to cost issues as necessary in order to manage operations within the budget and resources.- Ensures that the organization takes an overall value chain perspective to meet customer expectations on quality, service levels and lead time and has a full understanding and culture of continuous improvement behaviors, methodology and processes.- Maintains compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations while monitoring and reporting progress and results.- Assesses risks and safety hazards and implements plans to ensure people and equipment safety.- Provides support to Sales staff to improve understanding of customer requirements to identify both potential constraints and solutions to these requirements from an operational point of view.- Ensures (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.- Guides, motivates, and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies, develops programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead the organization to the highest level of operational performance while optimizing working capital throughout operations.**Your background**:- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.- 5+ years of experience in management or project management experience, working as similar positions.- Understanding of ABB Financial Systems (desirable).- English advanced level.- Availability to travel.**More about us**:
