Analytics Business Partner

**About The Role**As a GBS Analytics Business Partner this is an exciting time to join the growing GBS Analytics team to influence the outlook of descriptive analytics as well as the opportunity be involved in projects that include Machine Learning, Predictive Modelling, AI, Catalogue Platforms and many other areas. You will be part of a high performing, multi-disciplinary team, delivering analytical products and ensure that all business customers come on the journey through GBS Analytics project life cycles. Having a strong passion for driving incremental business value using analytics, with strong experience of understanding business processes, customer needs and challenges, capturing and analysis of business requirements, combined with excellent stakeholder management. Your experience will be combined with strong finance acumen with good technical understanding to oversee offshore technical teams as part of numerous GBS Analytics projects. To be successful in this role, we would like you to be able to communicate simply and effectively, with precision and impact across the global user community.**Typical Accountabilities**- Support the delivery of customer centric data products and services- Understanding and documenting the current state business processes relating to analytics problem statements- Understand the end to end user journey and utilise as input into business requirements- Coordinate the translation of business problems into the appropriate analytics problem and solutions in the project and translate to our IT colleagues (including ETL developers and Power BI visualisation specialists) for delivery in An Agile manner- Build and manage effective relationships with a range of stakeholders to ensure utilization and value of information resources and services. Clearly and objectively communicate results, as well as their associated uncertainties and limitations- Have a relentless focus on the customer ensuring that this lens is applied to the products developed and delivered within the GBS Analytics Service Line teams- Support and in some cases, own the preparation of presentations and analysis for consumption by customers and stakeholders- Review and develop working practices to ensure that work is delivered to robust quality standards within defined scope- Provide expertise in exploratory and descriptive data analytics to cross-functional projects and shape delivery of solutions that drive business value- Co-ordinate small to medium (4-8 person) projects of defined scope- Support the GBS Analytics Customer Lead in developing the vision and strategy for analytical products**Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience****Essential**- Strong analytical skills with the ability to discover and interpret business change requirements- Strong knowledge of analytics and visualisation tools- Prior experience of working on data driven projects- Energetic and self-motivated- Excellent presentation & oral communication skills.- Previous experience of process change and/or technology implementation- You will have previous experience of holding a similar role within a Finance or Technical teams- Proficient in English language, both verbal and written- Ability to work well in and across diverse global teams- Confidence in working with Senior management- Willingness to undertake some domestic / international travel (as required)**Desirable**- Experience of working in high performing, fast paced teams- Demonstrate capabilities of working in Agile project management- Experience of working in a Pharmaceutical industry- A recognized finance or technical qualification
