Account Director Consumer Tech - AxiCom Mexico:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated PR Account Director to lead communications strategies for a Consumer Technology account , managing operations across Mexico and Latin America . The ideal candidate will be a bilingual professional (Spanish & English) with strong leadership capabilities , proven client management experience , and a deep understanding of the media landscape and PR industry within both Mexico and the broader LATAM region .
Key Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field, preferably working with technology and consumer brands and with agency background.
- Fluency in English is essential (written and verbal), with the ability to lead client interactions and develop materials.
- Strong leadership and team management skills , capable of coordinating teams and driving performance in a fast-paced environment.
- Expertise in client management , building trusted relationships, anticipating client needs, and delivering strategic counsel.
- Ability to develop and execute integrated communication plans that drive brand positioning and business impact.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day management of PR strategies for a leading Consumer Tech account across Mexico and LATAM , ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, providing strategic counsel and proactive solutions to elevate brand presence in the market.
- Manage and motivate the team , ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
- Proactive and adaptable , with the ability to navigate complex regional dynamics.
- Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills .
- Passionate about consumer technology and innovation , staying ahead of industry developments.
