Working within the Sales division, the Account Manager develops, implements and updates the account strategy for Process Automation business in the Oil&Gas, Power Generation and Chemicals industries. In this role, you will coordinate sales activities, creating added value for the customer and ABB, with a clear focus on increasing market share, profitability, and customer satisfaction
This position reports toSales Manager
Your responsibilities- Sale of distributed control systems, client portfolio management (visits, presentations, interface between the proposals area and the client, etc.), project pipeline management, generation of a network of contacts at all levels of the organization of the customer.
- Leading the development and implementation of the account plan and growth actions.
- Defining sales targets for the account, and ensuring they are achieved with a structured follow-up process across Process Automation Business.
- Providing solutions for their businesses that are in line with volume, mix and profitability targets.
- Monitoring competitor activity and ensuring appropriate action is taken.
- Driving the application of standardized marketing and sales processes and tools.
- Bachelor´s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Process Automation or related.
- At least 6 years of experience in sales of automation systems and continuous process control.
- Experience with Oil & Gas, Power Generation and Chemicals industries.
- Some postgraduate degree in Administration, especially Marketing or Sales is a plus.
- Knowledge of distributed control systems, PLC and processes related to the Oil & Gas, Power Generation and Chemical industries.
- Advanced English skills.
- Availability to travel (70%).
