Global Network Services (GNS) organization partners with banks and financial institutions to issue cards and acquire merchants on the American Express network. Through these partnerships, GNS increases the number of American Express cards in the markets, enhances merchant coverage, and provides exciting and innovative new products around the world. This position has the responsibility to leads teams or individuals directly or indirectly in the product & business development on the American Express Global Network.

Reporting to the GNS B2B Product & Operational Manager, the incumbent will provide strategic thought leadership and relationship management to facilitate the expansion of the GNS B2B business across the world supporting the product & platform development strategy and the partner & vendor management.

REQUERIMENTS

ü Ability to manage multiple projects and ensure yearly plan targets including product development, new functionalities, product enhancements, etc.

ü Act as the first point of communication/interface with partners and vendors, on daily basis.

ü Built partner relationships at all levels and leverage these relationships to ensure partners fully understand the product, processes, guidelines, etc.

ü Review and interpret trends in the markets/ B2B Payments & Products that he/she is responsible for and make recommendations on how to drive the business forward.

ü Work closely with cross functional groups – Sales, Technologies, Operations & Finance to ensure consistent delivery of services to GNS to support business needs and continuous process improvements to maximize growth.

ü Operate in compliance with all applicable laws and procedures for all markets.

QUALIFICATIONS

ü Proven track record in product and platform development / business development.

ü Proven experience in operations and tech development

üProven experince in B2B Payments and products.

ü Exceptional project management capabilities and experience in such.

ü First class relationship skills gained through interacting at all levels across partner organizations.

ü Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects.

ü Entrepreneurial spirit, financial acumen and ability to drive and deliver results.

ü Highly resilient, able to drive results in challenging business environment.

ü Strong planning and organizing skills, ability to manage and see delivery of complex projects through to an end.

ü Strong communication skills.

ü Willingness to take initiative and to take full ownership of responsibilities.

ü Influencing and negotiating skills particularly with external partners where there is no direct authority and where partners are market leaders in their respective markets.

ü Ability to work effectively with a cross functional team.

ü Self-motivated and strong ability to drive results.

ü Fully bilingual (verbal and written) in English and Spanish.
