The Help Desk Specialist plays a key role in providing front-line technical support to end users within the organization. This position is responsible for responding to inquiries, diagnosing and resolving software, hardware, and network issues, and ensuring user satisfaction through clear communication and timely resolution. The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish), demonstrates strong customer service orientation, and possesses solid troubleshooting skills within Windows and Office 365 environments. This role supports both local and remote users and ensures adherence to IT service standards and SLAs. Key Responsibilities Provide first-level technical support for users via phone, email, and ticketing system. Diagnose and resolve basic issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity. Support user onboarding by setting up workstations, accounts, and access credentials. Document incidents and solutions accurately within the service management platform. Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or engineering teams when needed. Contribute to maintaining IT documentation and standard operating procedures. Qualifications Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field (preferred). 2+ years of experience in IT Helpdesk or Technical Support roles. Knowledge of Windows and macOS environments, Office 365, and Active Directory. Experience using remote desktop tools and ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow, ConnectWise). Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator are preferred. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and ability to work effectively in a hybrid and multicultural environment.
