Training Manager to join our leadership team within the Training Center in Toluca, Mexico.

The Training Manager ensures high standards around the delivery of instructional activities and is responsible for correct execution of all contracted training ensuring compliance with regulations.

Leads the instructor team assigned and creates standardization between instructors, while driving employee engagement and wellness. Is a champion of instructor and customer pain points and assist in finding solutions and continuous improvement.

Drives retention and build maximum number of qualifications for a diverse group of instructors to meet customer regulatory training needs.

Manages assigned program to insure maximum client throughput and revenue capture without compromise to regulatory obligations.

In this role, the
Training Manager will be responsible to:

  • Design required training programs according with CAE standards and present to authority for certification.
  • Adapt client ́s training program, when required, to provide Wet training.
  • Manage with any authority certifications of the FSTD, training program, PI ́s, audits, etc.
  • Manage assigned program to insure maximum client throughput and revenue capture.
  • Ensure training records and regulatory paperwork issues are managed and processed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Support program scheduler to insure the balanced and effective scheduling of instructors to fulfill client requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to processes as relevant.
  • Act as point of contact with local technical personnel to ensure that training devices remain fit for the published curricula.
  • Coordinate with Sales department as appropriate.
  • Manage the training qualifications and currency of assigned instructors to ensure maximum instructor availability and currency.
  • Conduct simulator and classroom assessments of instructor competence and performance.
  • Develop staffing recommendations.
  • Be responsible for instructor standardization within the assigned fleet.
  • Arrange instructor meetings training as required.
  • Support course preparation and availability of course documentation before customer course start date.
  • Support the creation of training curricula and courseware as required.
  • Monitor client progress and report on substandard performance.
  • Take action on substandard performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in jobrelated field.
  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years of jobrelated experience.
  • Extensive aeronautical and aviation training experience.
  • Hold or have held a professional pilot License.
  • Previous management experience in aviation training desirable.
  • Hold or have held airline pilot License.
  • Working knowledge of relevant regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Results oriented with an ability to handle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including public holidays and weekends.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
