North America Pricing Advisor

This role is a 'Hybrid' one, meaning you'll work 2-3 days a week at an HPE office.

Role Overview:

You will be responsible for defining, developing, and implementing pricing models to maximize revenue, market share, and profitability. Collaborate with Sales/Marketing, Business Development, and Finance teams to set pricing strategies aligned with product/sales goals. Identify opportunities to monetize products initially offered for free and drive upsell initiatives as products evolve in the market. Monitor industry trends to ensure competitive pricing and lead pricing strategy development and analysis. Implement pricing programs across the organization.

Apply advanced knowledge to solve complex business challenges and serve as a subject matter expert. Contribute to new ideas and solutions, working on intricate problems that demand a deep analysis of various factors. Lead project teams, provide expertise in cross-functional initiatives, and offer guidance on process improvement and policy establishment. Act as a respected advisor internally and externally, making decisions autonomously to achieve objectives. Mentor and support junior staff members.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead project teams to enhance sales processes and drive improvement across different areas
  • Consult with senior leaders to define relevant analytics, metrics, and outcomes
  • Recommend updates to processes, framework, and resource allocation to meet performance goals
  • Ensure sales activities align with service standards and business objectives
  • Manage client relationships to gather feedback, negotiate changes, and enhance sales processes
  • Provide expertise in sales processing and leadership to cross-functional projects
  • Offer guidance and mentorship to junior staff

Requirements:

  • University degree in Finance or Business; advanced degree is a plus
  • Extensive experience in finance, accounting, or compensation
  • Proficiency in Excel for data analysis
  • Detailed understanding of sales processes
  • Familiarity with business tools, systems, and practices
  • Ability to interpret client agreements and resolve issues
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of financial and accounting principles
  • Proactive attitude with a focus on learning and team collaboration
  • Expertise in business processes and policies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
