As a Business Development Specialist you will support proactive business development aligned with the Motion's strategy in Mexico for increase attention and focus.
You will provide business support, including expertise in products,
applications, solutions, and segment and customer (group) support for the Motors and Drives projects, ensuring sustainable deployment of the division's strategic plan. Facilitates activities to drive profitable business growth.
Your responsibilities
- Supports the development and execution of strategies and business plans related to focus segments, channels, and applications for identified markets in collaboration with the Sales and Marketing teams.
- Ensures the strategies and business plans are aligned with the overall division's strategy to achieve defined targets.
- Implements activities for agreed cross-divisional, product group, and regional initiatives.
- Identify relevant industrial segments in Mexico to ensure compliance with local sales, margin, market share and customer satisfaction objectives Supports developing and implementing product support and training to ensure high customer satisfaction in collaboration with Product Management and the global team.
- Supports the collaboration between Marketing and Sales teams, functions, global product groups, regions, factories, and relevant stakeholders.
- Acts as the interface/bridge between factory and countries.
- Build relationships with key external stakeholders, influencers/key customers and leverage ABB's strengths to capture new business opportunities.
- Lead and be the point of contact in Mexico to develop and implement a strategy based on the local market that includes direct, third-party and project sales.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering completed.
- 5+ years of experience in motor and drive sale projects (Package).
- Experience in negotiation and contract development.
- Postgraduate degree in engineering or MBA would be a differential.
- Knowledge of medium voltage products is a plus.
- Interpretation of electrical single-line diagrams is a plus.
- Salesforce experience is needed.
- Fluent English is needed.
