Oxígeno Arquitectura is looking for an Interiors Project Manager to join its team.

About Us

We are an award-winning Architecture & MEP firm based in Mexico City, specializing in institutional projects. These projects include Workplace, Education, Healthcare, and Hospitality. We have offices in Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Monterrey, and serve the Mexican and Latin American markets.

About Your Role

We are looking for an Interiors Design Project Manager to work in a great office and environment, with very energetic and fast pace projects based in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon.

Key Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years' post-qualification experience working on real projects: design interiors. Essential. Verifiable.
  • High level in Revit Architecture and Autodesk BIM 360 platform. Essential.
  • English is a must. Capable of handling projects in this language 100%.
  • Demonstrate excellent design and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Spanish and English.
  • Previous management of a small team is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Update stakeholders or team members on project progress.
  • Coach and support project team members on tasks assigned to them.
  • Preparation of schematic design, design development, construction bidding and licensing drawings.
  • Effective in coordinating with all disciplines involved in the project such as structures, MEP, fire protection and safety.
  • Work under minimal direction from others and is proficient in all phases of architectural projects.
  • Pay attention to detail and can resolve complex details independently.
  • Independently researches and resolves problems whenever possible, but solicits input from supervisors and other more experienced resources when necessary.
  • Responsible for finish drawings, specifications, schedule of values, material approval, and may perform on-site design follow-up.
  • Performs quality control of construction documents and collaborates with supervisors to meet project standards and requirements and to deliver the project on time.
  • Organizes the work of junior staff on portions of the work performed under their supervision.
  • Works well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preparation of design presentations.

Job Position

This is a full-time position, based in our studios in Monterrey, N.L, and all candidates should be eligible to work and live in Monterrey, N.L.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary to be agreed depending on experience.
  • Additional days off (8 to 10 per year).
