1. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
It is the primary communication link between Vishay Customers and Vishay Authorized Distributors with Customer Service representatives in Columbus and the various Vishay divisions. This position is responsible for developing, together with the Sales Manager, a close relationship between customers and the product lines of Vishay Americas.
2. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Receive, Process and respond to Quotations from direct Clients with the different product lines of Vishay Americas. 25%
Point of contact between direct Customers and Authorized Distributors with the support departments of each of Vishay's Divisions (Marketing, Logistics; Quality; Customs; Production Control, etc ) 25%
Receive, process in the SAP system and respond to sample order requirements from direct Customers and Authorized Distributors. twenty%
Support for Direct Customers and Vishay Distributors in situations of line stoppage due to lack of product; expediting (assisting Columbus Customer Service). 5%
Comparative sales reports for strategic Vishay clients to identify billing increases and decreases in different time periods by N/P. 5%
3. ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
Creation and follow-up of reports Samples for Vishay direct customers and distributors 5%
Monitoring and follow-up to reports of new opportunities (Design Win) 5%
Follow-up of overdue billing reports assisting Vishay's Credit and Collections department 5%
Vishay product location with the different Authorized Distributors for customers who require it. 5%
4. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING REQUIRED: Number of years of study and specifically the type of training and experience.
Education: High school plus extensive specialized training equal to 2 years of college. Bachelor's Degree Economics-administration or Industrial Engineering or related.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in sales area, quotes, customer service or whatever.
Basic Training: Induction
5. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Excellent Communication in English and Spanish; excellent Organizational ability to follow up; ability to multitask; Excellent computer skills and the Office system; knowledge of the Excel system is critical; Have the ability to understand and learn all lines of Vishay Products. SAP experience desirable.
