Business Development & Sales Manager (Animated Series & Publishing)

Description:

Era Una Vez Animations is looking for a Business Development & Sales Manager with proven experience in B2B sales of audiovisual content and/or publishing, to lead business development and close strategic deals for a growing animated IP.

This is not a traditional sales role.

It is consultative sales of intellectual property (IP).

You will work directly with the creative and strategy teams to position Pepito: The Animated Miniseries in international markets.

Responsibilities:

- Develop business opportunities for animated series and comics / publishing.
- Prospect, pitch, and negotiate with sales agents, distributors, platforms, broadcasters, publishers, and IP licensors.
- Present the project as a scalable IP with strong digital traction.
- Lead negotiations covering territories, windows, exclusivity, and IP rights.
- Build and manage an active B2B sales pipeline.
- Represent the project in meetings, pitches, and industry events.
- Gather market feedback and contribute to strategic and creative decision-making.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales of:

- Audiovisual content (animation, series, TV, streaming), and/or
- Publishing, comics, or IP licensing.
- Proven track record of closed deals.
- Strong understanding of distribution models, licensing structures, and IP rights.

- Experience with LatAm, U.S., and/or European markets.
- Excellent communication, pitching, and negotiation skills.
- Fluent or advanced English (required).
- Availability to work on-site in Monterrey, Nuevo León.

Salary Range:

- MXN $20,000 – $50,000 per month.
- Uncapped performance-based commissions.
