Major Global Luxury Hotel Group - Business Development Manager role.
Developing relationships with a portfolio of Luxury Travel Management Agencies and Wholesalers.
Mexico City.
To $45k, USD.
(A more senior role is also available with Team Lead experience).
Remote working / work from home, with 40-50% travel to meet with luxury travel agent contacts at hotels.
A Mexico City based role for in-person time with Luxury Travel contacts.
Must have experience working with Travel Agencies and Wholesalers.
The Business Development Manager role ensures regular contact and develops business relationships with the front-line agents, by webinars and in-person visits, to promote up to date awareness of the Hotel Group's portfolio of brands, by delivering and presenting relevant sales materials to encourage maximum sales for the Hotel Group's products and services.
The Business Development Manager works in a small Team covering the Caribbean and Latin American region. The team have twice weekly 'huddles' to share experiences, tactics and performance.
The role analyses and prioritizes agencies based on market indicators, market share, room night data.
From there, develops sales strategies for each agency using relevant data and reports to plan and structure the content for contact.
Activities include virtual calls and training sessions, webinars, and territory events and in-person visits.
You'll deliver and present relevant sales materials to encourage maximum sales for resorts.
The team work with Salesforce to report back on KPIs, data, and ROI – with support from the Team Lead.
The Global Director provides a lot of commercial direction, and then it is up to the Business Development Manager teams in every continent globally to execute the strategies with their portfolio of Travel Management Company and Wholesaler accounts for their territory.
Remote working close knit team, with some travel to meet your portfolio of agencies.
The role is roughly split; 50% wholesale, 30% luxury travel agency, and 20% business development.
