About the Role:
The Learning Manager will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of training programs for Amazon employees, with a focus on improving business safety, quality, productivity, and customer experience metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster the growth and development of Amazon employees through mentoring, teaching, and coaching.
- Create and implement training programs for associates, managers, trainers, and others, including needs analysis, skills development classes, cross-training, and orientation and training classes.
- Facilitate the creation and update of accurate and useful information for training schools, PMVs, SJIs, and other training aids/visuals.
- Act as a liaison between the Learning Department and Operations and Area Managers to understand and drive business performance and goals.
- Ensure that training is tracked and recorded, including progress and skill sets.
- Manage grant proposals, create and update training content, and administer methods for gathering and tracking training metrics.
- Analyze data to suggest improvements for training and operations, and track and communicate Learning Department goals, assignments, and progress.
Requirements:
- Master's degree.
- Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy.
- Ability to prioritize, manage, and complete projects with tight deadlines.
- Desire to thrive in a dynamic, growing environment.
