Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Order Management Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing customer orders from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate with factories and branches/agents to ensure order reservations and sourcing are arranged per customer requirements.
  • Monitor order reservations and work with sales offices to prevent delays and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate input of answers or information in IBS to ensure sales questions are answered and information is accurate.
  • Review orders in YORKworks/SelNav for details and technical information, and contact Marketing to resolve issues.
  • Investigate and expedite factories to resolve customer requests, including under/over shipments, defective material, and damaged cargo freight.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree and 4 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Knowledge of products, product availability, sales territories, and individual customers.
