Country HR Leader Job Description

About the Role:

The Country HR Leader for Mexico is a key position that requires an experienced HR leader with cross-functional expertise and business acumen. This individual will provide advice to country business leaders to drive HR programs and initiatives on a local level, ensuring alignment with HPE objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of HR Generalists and ensure consistent delivery of corporate programs and policies.
  • Partner with business and human resources managers to develop targeted program solutions.
  • Consult with leaders and provide guidance on a wide range of human resources programs.
  • Develop strategies for deploying HR programs and analyze the impact resulting from program deployment.
  • Maintain an understanding of the legal and regulatory environment and identify potential compliance issues.
  • Translate global human resources initiatives into targeted solutions to support unique needs.
  • Influence and negotiate with high-level managers to communicate key issues and support contract negotiation at the country level.
  • Manage change initiatives across a broad employee base.

Requirements:

  • First-level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.
  • Typically 6-10 years related experience in cross-functional human resources areas.
  • HR experience in HPE is a plus.
  • Typically 0-2 years supervisory experience is nice to have.
  • Advanced English level.
  • Proficient level in Power Point.
  • Advanced level in Excel.
