Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Commercial Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Developing proposals, cost estimates, pricing strategies, terms and conditions, and customer purchase order reviews.
- Serving as the primary interface with the Global Sales Team on opportunities within Nuclear Fuels, Services, and New Plant Projects.
- Participating in a cross-functional team consisting of Business Leaders, Project Managers, Engineering, Finance, Contracts, Legal, Sourcing, and Account Managers.
- Presenting deal structures to Business Leadership for approval.
- Collaborating with Nuclear Account Manager and Commercial Director in negotiations with customers as required.
- Ensuring compliance with the GE commercial risk process by acting as a technical and commercial Risk Manager.
- Partnering with functional leaders (Marketing / Sales Team) to improve customer satisfaction and address customer issues directly with the business.
- Maintaining the GE Customer Relationship Management System (Compass) and Cost Estimating tools.
- Supporting the achievement of Commercial Team metrics related to the "Inquiry to Order" process.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
- A minimum of 5 years of nuclear experience in Commercial Operations, Sales, Engineering, Outage / Inspection Services, or Contracts.
We are looking for individuals with:
- United States Government Contracting experience.
- Knowledge and experience reviewing contracting terms.
- A high energy level, broad business acumen, effective communication skills at all levels (internal and external), and the ability to motivate a team.
- Strong overall business knowledge and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication / presentation skills.
- The ability to work in a team environment.
