Partner Executive - Mexico

Role: Manage, maintain, and develop existing partners of SUSE in Mexico. Sales expert for indirect sales of SUSE products and solutions. Responsible partner manager for partners (large and midsize channel partners).

Focus Area:

  • Management, development, and enablement of existing named partners - focus on SUSE Linux Enterprise and Rancher Solutions; delivering larger projects with partners and SUSE Product Sales Specialist team.
  • Drive SUSE through named partner channel by setting up the right sales activities and programs, events, and marketing tasks, working close with local distribution.
  • Effectively generating and managing leads with assigned partners, identification of new business opportunities with the partner for SUSE.
  • Support SUSE Sales Team on partner-related sales activities to maximize revenue and market impact.
  • Develop joint business plan with key assigned partners, including elements such as joint financial sales targets, joint marketing plans, and resource requirements.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Attainment of Quota for sales of SUSE Linux Enterprise and Rancher solution products.
  • Trusted business relationship with partners.
  • Significant progress in generating new business within channel partners.

Requirements:

  • University degree in a business-related discipline.
  • 5+ years of professional channel sales experience, preferably in IT/Data Center sales.
  • Strong skills and experience in managing and developing existing partners, including experience in working with partner sales forces.
