Job Description

We are seeking an ambitious and confident Technical Sales Engineer to join our team at Dynatrace software GmbH. As a key member of our sales engine, you will provide excellent technical support to the sales team and be responsible for executing great demos that demonstrate our unique approach in solving customers' pain points.

In this exciting role, you will execute and manage proof of concepts onsite and remotely, build key relationships with customers, and complete RFIs & RFPs. You will also work across teams including innovation labs, Expert Services consultants, Customer Success Managers, and marketing.

About the Role
  • You need to have previous SE experience or another technical customer-facing role.
  • You should be passionate about innovative technology, technical sales, and articulating value to customers and prospects.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential, as well as the ability to communicate technical value into business value.

You will evangelize our product offerings during international trade shows and at key customer account meetings to promote new and expanded business. You will partner with sales representatives to identify new sales opportunities and incremental sales opportunities within existing accounts.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in proof of concept creation and cloud architecture discussions, leading the technical solution evaluation portion in support of sales opportunities.
  • Present our vision to C-suite executives and provide technical guidance in the Discovery, Solution Evaluation, and Solution Proposal stages of the opportunity sales cycle.
  • Present on-stage demonstrations providing insight and context to our customers during key marketing events.
  • Gather, qualify, and provide feedback from customers to improve our market share and meet market needs.
  • Build best practices and share knowledge with the team to continuously develop and enhance both personal and team capabilities.
