Job Summary

The ESET Pre-Sales Engineer provides sales support by advising sellers, Partners, and Distributors on technical issues and specifications of ESET security solutions. This role involves preparing materials and attending events and meetings to discuss the operation of ESET solutions and features.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and provide training on all technical and operational issues related to ESET security solutions for customers, Distributors, Partners, and channels, both online and in person.
  • Participate in events and business meetings with customers to make live demonstrations of ESET products and provide advice on their operation.
  • Evaluate customer needs and assist in the implementation of ESET products.
  • Create testing environments at the facilities of prospects to try ESET security solutions, monitoring all testing stages, assisting, making suggestions based on specific needs, and providing technical support to close the sale.
  • Design content for training materials and demos for product presentations.
  • Review and approve sections of tenders that specify technical product features to check for errors.
  • Respond to technical queries from prospects, Partners, and Distributors from any LATAM country.
Requirements
  • Complete tertiary or incomplete university studies in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or similar.
  • From 3 to 5 years of working experience as a Systems Analyst and/or in IT Security.
  • General knowledge of IT Security, Computing or IT Systems, Operating systems (Windows Server, Windows Home, Linux, Mac, Android), and basic programming knowledge.
  • Intermediate level of English.
