Director of Rooms Operations

As the Director of Rooms Operations, you will be responsible for leading the Rooms department to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will develop and implement departmental strategies, ensuring that Rooms operations meet the brand's standards and targets customer needs.
Key Responsibilities- Champion the brand's service vision and communicate a clear and consistent message regarding departmental goals.
- Make and execute decisions to keep the property moving forward toward achievement of goals.
- Monitor and promote room rates, specials, and promotions.
- Analyze service issues and identify trends.
- Work with the Rooms team to develop an operational strategy aligned with the brand's business strategy.
- Review and audit expenses.
- Monitor Rooms operations sales performance against budget.
- Review reports and financial statements to determine Rooms operations performance against budget.
- Coach and support operations team to effectively manage occupancy and rate, wages and controllable expenses.
- Compare budgeted wages to actual wages and hold team accountable for results.
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 4 years experience in the guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area.
