Overview



Microsoft's Enterprise Account Team plays a key role in empowering customers to drive their digital transformation. This team is responsible for envisioning new possibilities for our customers, delivering solutions that result in targeted business outcomes, and driving revenue growth for Microsoft.



As a Strategic Account Technology Strategist, you will have the opportunity to design and drive digital technology initiatives in partnership with your customer, both supporting your customer's desired business outcomes and achieving Microsoft's business objectives.



Paired with a Strategic Account Executive, leveraging your large, multi-functional v-team across the breadth of the Microsoft product portfolio and the vast catalog of Microsoft Partner offerings, you will build and grow your network of technology executives within your customer and bring industry-relevant solutions to help the customer adopt and embrace digital technologies.



With a proven history of innovating technical solutions to achieve customers' business transformation and achieving account growth targets, this role will give you the opportunity to combine your technology and industry knowledge to deliver on digital solutions to accelerate your customer's digital vision and to ultimately become their technology mentor.



Responsibilities


  • Strategy Leadership: Understand the customer's business objectives, technology landscape, and digital strategy to build, document, and maintain the customer's technology architecture and roadmap and use it in communication with the extended account team; grow and manage the technology relationship and orchestrate technology roles in your extended account team and relevant partners to deliver customer outcomes across the customer lifecycle.
  • Technology Relevant Trusted Seller: Drive Microsoft Business growth and customer Technology Transformation including partner co-sell motions, building new solution pipeline based on the customer-aligned technology strategy; be accountable for the development and governance of the customers' consumption pipeline. Lead technology sales activities to drive the digital transformation vision and roadmap of our public sector customers with Microsoft technologies.
  • Technology Leadership: Create thought leadership with the customers' executives (Technology and Business) in new and emerging technology trends like AI or Industrial Metaverse and establishing a meaningful and mutually agreed path forward for the customers to adopt those technologies; orchestrate the resulting opportunities across Microsoft and Partner teams and create referenceable customer win stories.
  • Industry Knowledge: Apply expertise in customer businesses, technology platforms, and industry to build digital technology strategy with the customer that is aligned to business outcomes. Challenge customer's assumptions with constructive dialogue about their business and technology. Create long-term strategies which link business, technology, and industry needs of our customers to enable their business and transformation strategy, based upon customer's organization, technology, and industry knowledge & experience.
  • Digital Transformation & Innovation Strategy: Understand customer's industry and organizational goals, Microsoft solution areas, and partner solutions to build the 3 Horizon roadmap to enable customer's DT/Innovation agenda. Expand Microsoft relationships with customers into strategic DT partnerships.
  • Account Leadership: Change Agent internally and externally to inspire and ideate about possibilities new technologies provide to drive business strategy and priorities of our customers. Own and strengthen the relations with C-level technology and innovation executives in business units.

Requirements


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 6+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, business consulting, practice building, or related technical / sales experience, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in:

    • Working with Mexican government (Public Sector).
    • Leading a team to drive the customer's digital transformation.
    • Leading technical, support, and/or partner teams.
    • Making recommendations to and/or collaborating with mid-to-senior level executives.
    • Experience leading teams by influence.
    • Experience negotiating with large and complex customers.
    • Establishing the technical strategy for the customers' digital transformation.
    • Growth mindset to position industry solutions with solid knowledge in Microsoft technology, especially those disrupting technologies such as Artificial Intelligence on Azure, Copilot, Security, M365, Dynamics, Power Apps, and the Azure Datacenter Region in Mexico Central.
    • Experience leading the implementation, operation, and support of projects including the 3 Microsoft clouds: Azure, Business Applications, and Modern Work.




Desirable Qualifications


  • Sales experience: Technical consulting, technical consultative selling, business consulting, practice building, or related technical / sales experience.
  • Experience working in technology projects for tax administrations.
