Job Summary

The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and maximizing sales by providing efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable service. The ideal candidate will be able to work well in a team environment, receive feedback, and take action when appropriate.

Responsibilities
  • Consistently demonstrate AEO Customer First selling standards to deliver a positive customer experience.
  • Drive AE brand loyalty by being knowledgeable about AEO loyalty programs and informing customers.
  • Provide product knowledge to customers using company tools and technology.
  • Support fellow employees through knowledge sharing, task completion, and customer interactions.
  • Outfit customers with key looks and latest trends based on individual style.
  • Promote AEO and aerie brands by introducing customers to additional brand channels.
  • Perform register sales transactions quickly and accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, cash wrap, and stockroom.
  • Execute efficient merchandise handling and resolve customer concerns.
Requirements
  • Previous retail experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaborative skills and ability to work well in a team.
  • Ability to receive feedback and take action.
  • Able to stand and move for extended periods.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule.
  • Proficient with technology.
