About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Manager to join our team at Amazon. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with some of the world's greatest brands, driving customer-centric outcomes and delivering business results.

As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for owning forecasting, monitoring, understanding, and reporting on assigned categories, as well as driving projects and promotions to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Owning category performance and developing strategies to maximize profitability and selection expansion opportunities.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners, negotiating and securing marketing funds.
  • Creating business plans for new opportunities and developing project plans for the launch of new features, incorporating merchandising and pricing strategies.
  • Cross-functional team collaboration, communicating with internal and external stakeholders while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Conducting financial analysis of business opportunities to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets in a collaborative environment.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of Excel experience.
  • 7+ years of account management, project or program management, or buying experience.
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required plus at least 8+ years of professional background.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
