Position Overview

The Senior Procurement Project Specialist plays a crucial role in collaborating with global and cross-functional teams, tasked with executing new and ongoing optimization initiatives within the automotive sector, particularly focusing on power-train components.


Key Responsibilities

This role serves as the primary liaison among purchasing and supplier quality teams, the Business Units responsible for product development, and external partners.

Responsibilities include:

  • Sourcing and validating samples and components for ongoing business.
  • Facilitating technical discussions with Bosch's diverse teams and suppliers.
  • Ensuring project milestones are met and providing updates across various levels of the organization.

The objective is to achieve optimal overall costs and timely project execution by engaging both internal and external stakeholders. The role demands meeting assigned targets related to cost, timing, and quality, while actively contributing to identifying and implementing cost-saving strategies and business development opportunities.


Qualifications

- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity, particularly within the automotive industry.

- Proficiency in English, encompassing writing, listening, and speaking skills.

- Required hard skills include a solid understanding of purchasing processes for sourcing and releasing new components, familiarity with SAP, experience working with international multidisciplinary teams and suppliers, project management expertise, and negotiation skills.

- Essential soft skills include teamwork and collaboration, effective communication, results-driven mindset, and self-leadership.

- Willingness to travel as necessary.
