Position Overview:
The individual in this role will be pivotal in driving revenue growth through New To Bank (NTB) clients or New to Global Trade and Receivables Finance (GTRF) clients. This will be achieved in close collaboration with the Sales and Coverage teams within Wholesale Banking. The role involves evaluating client portfolios, identifying market opportunities, and aligning these with structured trade solutions to meet client needs effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance the growth of receivable finance solutions as part of GTRF's strategic initiatives, particularly focusing on LC/MME clients selling to major buyers.
- Engage in complex Structured Trade discussions with clients, determining optimal structuring for no-recourse transactions (LRRF) that may require the engagement of insurers.
- Collaborate closely with Wholesale Banking GRBs and GTRF BDMs to increase RF penetration across sector clients at both HQ and Regional HQ levels.
- Deliver professional presentations to clients, showcasing HSBC's strengths in a competitive landscape.
- Plan and develop innovative sector solutions and propositions in conjunction with Global Product & Propositions.
- Replicate LRRF/RRF solutions across multinational sites by driving local sales and solution structuring.
- Lead the development of structured trade solutions and spearhead global strategic initiatives for key clients.
- Oversee global operating rhythms, including client and deal reviews, pipeline management, and performance dashboards for the Structured Trade Finance portfolio.
- Partner with marketing and communications to create impactful thought leadership content.
- Support the formulation of key initiatives and associated business cases.
- Act as a representative for structured trade across Global Businesses and engage with other global stakeholders.
- Facilitate the sharing of best practices among regional teams.
Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of Global Trade & Receivable Finance products.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a similar capacity, particularly in Product Management or GTRF Sales.
- Comprehensive understanding of all aspects related to GTRF products, including risk, operations, legal, and compliance.
- A commitment to continuously improving customer service delivery.
- A flexible approach to change, encouraging similar adaptability in others.
- Experience in supporting team performance through clear direction and motivation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to cultivate successful relationships with key internal stakeholders, including Risk, Operations, and FCC.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential.
