Job Overview

As a key member of the Barco team, the Customer Services Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring the successful installation and maintenance of our products. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct thorough site assessments to develop installation plans, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction and cost efficiency.
  2. Provide technical support and training to certified Barco dealers, assisting them in performing professional installations.
  3. Resolve customer issues promptly, providing feedback and updates on the status of problems.
  4. Perform scheduled and emergency on-site service repairs, as well as preventive maintenance.
  5. Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, including customer interactions and issue resolutions.
  6. Foster strong customer relationships through regular visits and communication, promoting new product ideas and improvements.
  7. Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical support and product demonstrations.
  8. Identify and escalate quality issues to the appropriate channels.
  9. Participate in the development and maintenance of training materials and equipment.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  2. 3-5 years of experience in the AV industry, preferably with a strong background in LVX and IP.
  3. Excellent technical skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  4. Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
  5. Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong customer-centric approach.
