Job Overview
As a key member of the Barco team, the Customer Services Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring the successful installation and maintenance of our products. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough site assessments to develop installation plans, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction and cost efficiency.
- Provide technical support and training to certified Barco dealers, assisting them in performing professional installations.
- Resolve customer issues promptly, providing feedback and updates on the status of problems.
- Perform scheduled and emergency on-site service repairs, as well as preventive maintenance.
- Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, including customer interactions and issue resolutions.
- Foster strong customer relationships through regular visits and communication, promoting new product ideas and improvements.
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical support and product demonstrations.
- Identify and escalate quality issues to the appropriate channels.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of training materials and equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in the AV industry, preferably with a strong background in LVX and IP.
- Excellent technical skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong customer-centric approach.
