Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Support Engineer to join our team at Oracle. As a member of our Support organization, you will be responsible for delivering post-sales support and solutions to our customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolve post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means
  • Provide technical support for our Electronic Support Services
  • Facilitate customer relationships with Support and provide advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees

Requirements:

  • Two years prior working experience with Oracle products or at least three years related experience without Oracle products
  • Technical degree or equivalent preferred
  • Proven experience in implementation, support, consulting and/or development
  • Experience in CRM products or cloud products
  • Skills in using industry standard tools and techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of networks, database configuration, server configuration, Web Server optimization, load balancing hardware
  • Experience monitoring, tuning and/or changing complex applications to optimize the product to perform to customer expectations

Working experience in one of the following areas is seen as an advantage: XML, Java, J2EE and Oracle ADF, SOA and Web Services
