About the Role

Energizer Holdings is seeking a skilled professional to champion the execution of globally approved marketing cycle plans that support and drive commercial objectives for assigned categories and brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Manager in planning and developing the annual marketing cycle plan and manage associated budgets.
  • Coordinate the execution of central and locally created promotions, recommending local activities based on market insights to increase consumer engagement.
  • Monitor and report on critical elements of competitive actions related to product, price, distribution, visibility, and promotions.
  • Participate in customer presentations and join key customer negotiations when the Senior Manager is unavailable.
  • Establish portfolio ranging needs by market and channel, coordinating trade programs within the marketing cycle plan.
  • Analyze Nielsen data to formulate insights that will allow us to better compete.
  • Adapt sub-region marketing cycle plans as part of the annual business plan process.
  • Manage execution of activities during key weeks to deliver volume and net sales during seasonal peaks.
  • Closely coordinate with commercial teams to plan merchandising and visibility needs in modern and traditional channels.
  • Manage relationships with BTL and digital agencies to ensure local planning and execution of activities.
  • Provide analytical understanding of Nielsen audit data, reviewing category, pricing, portfolio, and distribution trends by segment versus competition.
  • Work with Finance to analyze business segments for range volume, net sales, and gross margin, issuing updates to Cluster leadership and commercial teams.
  • Monitor and track competitor promotional activity.
  • Ensure A&P spending and phasing align with ABP/QF planning.

Requirements

  • English Upper Intermediate or above.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of business experience.
  • Solid evidence of working in consumer goods marketing and sales, with experience in categories managed by Energizer Holdings.
  • Degree or above in Business, Marketing, or a similar discipline.
  • Exposure to working directly with customers and sales teams.
  • Experience analyzing and utilizing trade audit data.
  • Demonstrated competencies in critical thinking, collaboration, influence, team leadership, customer focus, and achieving results in alignment with business goals.
  • Ideal experience in brand activation and execution.
  • Ability to collaborate well and work cross-functionally.
  • Brand management experience.
  • Trade Marketing experience.
