About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Partnership Development Manager to join our team at DigitalOcean. As a key member of our Partnerships & Sales team, you will play a critical role in expanding our presence in the Americas and LATAM region.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the trusted advisor to both business partners and DigitalOcean regional sales teams to drive revenue growth.
- Lead the go-to-market strategy to build pipeline with key partnerships, leveraging co-marketing plays, sales plays, and increasing partner adoption of DigitalOcean and bi-directional lead passing.
- Work across internal and partner organizations to galvanize support and actions that benefit mutual goals, achieving and exceeding quarterly revenue goals.
Requirements
- Intimate knowledge of the Americas market, including LATAM, in a partner sales-focused role.
- Proven track record of achieving measurable goals in a partner development/sales environment.
- Strong network/relationships and ability to build strategic relationships.
- Be curious about emerging trends in the local market for cloud services and create and capitalize on opportunities.
- Ability to work independently to identify, evaluate, generate new business opportunities, and drive them to closure.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with an ability to multi-task & prioritize tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in IaaS or PaaS.
- Ability to clearly understand and articulate solution value propositions.
- High-level technical aptitude to understand our products and how they fit together.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, explaining technical concepts in clear and concise terms.
- Ability to quickly synthesize and put to use new information.
- Experience in SFDC.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
