Job Description:

The FEM Head is a critical role within the Risk and Compliance function in Latin America, responsible for managing costs and optimizing operational efficiency. This position involves overseeing various administrative functions, including budgeting, cost control, financial analysis, and resource allocation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and oversee the bank's budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Implement cost control measures to optimize spending and minimize expenses while maintaining operational effectiveness.
  • Financial Analysis and Strategic Planning: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks related to costs and expenses. Use data-driven insights to develop strategic plans for cost management and resource allocation.
  • Vendor Management and Contract Negotiation: Manage relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and pricing for goods and services.
  • Operational Efficiency Optimization: Identify and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency across various functions within the bank.

Requirements:

  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cost control techniques.
  • Strategic Planning: Ability to develop and implement strategic plans for cost management that align with the bank's overall objectives.
  • Leadership and Management: Demonstrated leadership skills to inspire and motivate teams, foster a culture of cost-consciousness, and drive change within the organization.

Compensation: The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include a comprehensive health insurance package, retirement plan, and generous paid time off.
