Job Summary

US Media Consulting, LLC. is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to spearhead our sales efforts in Mexico. The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating and nurturing relationships with advertising agencies, trading desks, and direct advertisers to drive demand for our SSP platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Create and execute sales plans to drive revenue growth and market penetration in Mexico.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Foster strong relationships with advertising agencies, trading desks, and direct advertisers to identify opportunities for collaboration.
  • Provide Insights and Recommendations: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert insights and recommendations on leveraging programmatic advertising solutions to achieve their marketing objectives.
  • Drive Adoption of SSP Platform: Promote the unique features and benefits of our SSP platform, particularly in the realms of video and CTV advertising.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and client satisfaction.
  • Stay Abreast of Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Negotiate and Close Deals: Negotiate and close deals, including insertion orders (IOs) and programmatic deals, while maximizing revenue and margins.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Marketing: A degree in Business Administration or Marketing is required, with an MBA preferred.
  • Proven Track Record in Digital Advertising Sales: A proven track record of at least 5 years in digital advertising sales, with a focus on programmatic advertising and SSPs.
  • Experience in Client-Facing Role: +7 years of experience in a client-facing role, preferably in ad tech or digital advertising.
  • Deep Understanding of Mexican Digital Advertising Ecosystem: A deep understanding of the Mexican digital advertising ecosystem, including key players, trends, and regulations.
  • Strong Network of Contacts: A strong network of contacts within advertising agencies, trading desks, and direct advertisers in Mexico.
  • Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong Skills and Experience with Tools: Strong skills and experience with tools such as Google Sheets, Google Slides, and CRMs.
  • Strategic Thinker with Analytical Skills: A strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate insights into actionable sales strategies.
  • Self-Motivated and Results-Oriented: Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for driving business growth and exceeding targets.
  • Fluency in English: Fluency in English is required.
  • Ability to Work in In-Office Environment: Able to work in an in-office environment (3 days at the office – 2 days WFH) during the onboarding process, followed by (1 day at the office – 4 days WFH).
