Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist I to join our team at CommScope. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of our workforce, including recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and procurement of proper manpower by participating in the selection of employees.
  • Conduct and/or coordinate interviewing, pre-employment testing, and personal background checks to reduce turnover and develop a quality workforce.
  • Facilitate employee labor relations through active communications between management and employees, and provide consistent interpretation and application of company policies to maintain employee morale and a union-free workplace.
  • Support company policies through proper communications to employees to maintain consistency in their applications.
  • Understand and follow the requirements of the Safety, Health, and Environment administration system, its Policy, standards, and procedures.
  • Follow up on projects assigned by management, including creation of reports as required by site and/or corporate management.
  • Ensure the correct process of different movements in the EC and Tress systems in a timely manner for the correct transition to the interface.
  • Monitor employee attendance, disciplinary reports, and resignations.
  • Monitor Amazon audits and process requirements.
  • Receive, respond, and follow up with finance on notifications for child support for discount.
  • Develop and implement projects related to values, Code of Ethics, and CommAlert, and provide courses on different subjects such as DIBN, Leadership, and Communication.
  • Monitor employees for violations of conduct, including administrative minutes or dismissals depending on the case.
  • Send payment reports of interns to the payroll department.
  • Verify resignations movements to download IDSE report.
  • Execute renewals and contract expirations.
  • Send salary vacancy reports for approval.
  • Verify direct and indirect labor level changes.
  • Review level changes and approve movements in EC System.
  • Schedule committees of Labor and cafeteria meetings.
  • Personnel hiring: receive applications, call candidates, conduct interviews, receive documents, register personnel in EC, offer, and incorporate personnel.
  • Recruit professional interns/residents required by departments.
  • Translate documents and presentations.
  • Monitor sporting events programming.
  • Contract terminations, RIF, follow up, and recommendation letters.
  • Prepare organizational communications.
  • Prepare satisfaction surveys.
  • Prepare decision matrices.
  • Support in engagement events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Administration, or related area.
  • Proficient in English Language (written and spoken).
  • 2+ years' experience in Human Resources.
  • Able to work on different shifts (including third shift) as needed.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools.
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of discretion, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
