The Sales Operations Manager plays a crucial role in nurturing existing client relationships while actively seeking new business opportunities. This involves identifying potential clients within our risk acceptance framework to achieve origination, revenue, and service objectives.

  • Develop new business leads through proactive outreach. Assess client needs and create tailored proposals highlighting Element's value-added services. Oversee the complete sales cycle to facilitate seamless onboarding for new clients, including risk assessment, client meetings, contract negotiations, and implementation.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with assigned clients, serving as the primary contact. Collaborate with internal teams to address daily needs and new requirements. Conduct regular client meetings to foster and expand business relationships, while managing contract renewals and legal adjustments.
  • Introduce new products and services to existing clients to boost profitability. Present newly launched offerings to prospects and clients.
  • Develop, plan, and execute a strategic account management plan, coordinating with consulting projects and conducting business reviews.
  • Identify and share industry best practices. Exhibit strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and strategic insight to cultivate customer loyalty.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant business experience is preferred;
  • A Bachelor’s degree is desirable; an MBA is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
  • Experience in vehicle management or a related financial/asset-based sector is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% based on client portfolio and location.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced and evolving environment is crucial.
  • Exceptional communication skills (both oral and written), along with strong influencing and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proven negotiation skills with a successful track record.
  • Strong customer-centric approach with a commitment to achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to engage with C-level executives effectively.

Knowledge and Competencies

  • Comprehensive understanding of leasing, rates, terms, financing options, billing, vehicle expense reporting, and service cards, with the ability to engage all levels within a client's organization.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a high energy level, capable of independently initiating and driving activities.
  • Proficient in managing volume and service opportunities, effectively closing transactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with urgency and take responsibility for account retention and growth.
  • Continually strengthen client relationships, focusing on identifying key decision-makers and strategizing access to them.
  • Experience in navigating complex business situations is advantageous.
