Job Description
The successful candidate will lead the fulfillment of technical asset management contracts for solar renewable energy projects, providing engineering consulting services, and supporting the Portfolio Management, Onboarding, and Technical Asset Management teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Fulfill technical requirements of asset management contracts, including evaluation of client site performance, identification of data and performance issues, and provision of recommendations for improvement.
- Oversee Operations and Maintenance providers, provide technical feedback and support, and track equipment and data outages to reduce frequency and duration.
- Analyze and report on spares strategy, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
- Provide monthly reporting of site performance metrics and participate in onboarding calls with clients, developers, and O&M providers.
The role also involves consulting services, including drawing and design review, construction and commissioning consulting, and performance analysis of underperforming sites.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related energy field from a four-year university.
- 3+ years of experience in the power generation industry, preferably in solar / renewable energy.
- Competencies in oral/written communication, planning/organizing, adaptability, problem solving, passion, technology, reporting, and technical knowledge in PV plant performance analysis, electrical design, solar industry best practices, and energy storage concepts.
Preferred Skills & Competencies
PV simulation software such as PVSYST, with preferred 3+ years of solar/renewable energy experience.
