Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced AWS Sales Expert to drive revenue growth and expand our AWS partnership. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling AWS services to enterprises, a deep understanding of AWS products and services, and strong connections with AWS representatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to promote AWS services to new and existing clients.
  • Client Engagement: Identify and engage with potential clients, understand their business needs, and coordinate with the DevOps and cloud teams to propose tailored AWS solutions.
  • Relationship Building: Foster and maintain strong relationships with AWS representatives to enhance collaboration and partnership opportunities.
  • AWS Partnership Management: Work closely with AWS representatives to leverage AWS resources, co-sell opportunities, and ensure the company maximizes its benefits as an AWS Partner.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
  • Sales Targets: Achieve or exceed sales targets and contribute to the company's revenue growth.
  • Collaboration with DevOps and Cloud Teams: Work alongside the company's DevOps and cloud experts to translate client needs into technical requirements and ensure the successful implementation of AWS solutions.
  • Proposal Development: Support the DevOps and cloud teams in preparing and presenting detailed proposals to clients, showcasing the value and benefits of AWS services.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that align with company goals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including technical and marketing, to ensure seamless delivery of AWS solutions.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in selling AWS services, with a proven track record of success.
  • AWS Knowledge: Deep understanding of AWS products, services, and pricing models.
  • Connections: Established and strong connections with AWS representatives, preferably with experience working in an AWS Partner organization.
  • Sales Skills: Strong sales acumen, with the ability to identify opportunities, close deals, and drive revenue growth.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate client needs to technical teams.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate complex contracts and close high-value deals.
  • Customer Focus: Strong customer orientation, with the ability to build lasting relationships and deliver exceptional service.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. AWS certifications are a plus.
  • Team Collaboration: Experience working alongside technical teams, particularly in a DevOps and cloud environment.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and AWS representatives.
