About the Role:

The Sales Support Representative will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, collaborating with various departments to respond to inquiries. This role works closely with the Sales leadership team to drive key initiatives and contribute to Flowserve's success in maximizing sales bookings and opportunity pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate efforts on aftermarket quotes, ensuring close collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Review customer specifications and documents to apply Flowserve's technical and commercial requirements.
  • Drive daily tactical customer proposals, supporting strategic offerings and identified sales win-back opportunities.
  • Partner with Site Hubs to drive quotation performance within regions and product sites, leveraging quoting tools for prioritization, cycle times, and minimization of rework.
  • Generate high-quality, on-time, value-priced proposals to facilitate order fulfillment.
  • Manage and monitor proposals throughout the bid cycle, updating and maintaining workload management tools and monitoring hit-rate optimization.
  • Demonstrate a fundamental understanding of pump applications and types, and a clear understanding of parts, programs, and processes to drive solutions for customers.
  • Identify and develop key actions with the sales leadership team to achieve forecast accuracy, addressing performance gaps and preparing QBR data analytics.
  • Maintain current, accurate, and organized records of sales training, organization charts, and critical information needed to manage sales engagements.
  • Collaborate with the Sales leadership team to execute and deliver continuous improvement projects to meet objectives.
  • Receive and compile weekly sales reports.
  • Support 30-day and quarterly sales forecasts, as well as monthly outlook processes.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office package.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Industry experience related to pumps and rotating equipment.
  • Experience with customer relationship management in the power generation and utility industries.
  • Experience with Sales Force.
  • Experience in sales or customer service in an engineered manufacturing environment with proven success in administering commercial and/or government contracts.
  • Experience in pricing, contract review, and ERP administration.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills, able to establish priorities and work to specific deadlines with little supervision.
