Senior Merchandise Development Manager

**About the Role**
A Senior Merchandise Development Manager is a critical member of the Autozone team responsible for driving sales and profits through effective merchandising strategies. This role requires strong leadership skills, business acumen, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement strategic merchandising plans to maximize sales and profits
- Lead a team of Category Managers to achieve business objectives
- Collaborate with vendors to negotiate programs and ensure alignment with company initiatives
- Manage Special Projects as needed, such as responding to senior management inquiries or solving business problems
**Requirements & Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering
- 5-7 years of experience in retail/merchandising, purchasing, or manufacturing
- Proven management skills, including experience leading a team or group
- Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work with a team
**Estimated Salary Range:** $80,000 - $120,000 per year
