About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Management Specialist to join our team at Flextronics - The Flex Company. As an Asset Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in planning, directing, and controlling all asset activities within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the development and implementation of asset management strategies to ensure optimal utilization of assets.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials.
  4. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  5. Implement and lead initiatives to improve manufacturing processes and reduce capital expenditures.
  6. Analyze and optimize asset utilization to minimize idle time and maximize productivity.
  7. Validate payback periods for capital investments and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  8. Support the negotiation of rental agreements and ensure alignment with company policies.
  9. Ensure local price proposals are aligned to global supply agreements and local price standards.
  10. Support and analyze technical solutions for manufacturing operations.
  11. Support external sales of surplus equipment.

Requirements:

  1. Advanced experience with a proven track record in a guidance role within contract manufacturing, electronic, metal, and plastic industries.
  2. Extensive experience in manufacturing operations, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery of finished goods.
  3. Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic, Industrial, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
  4. PCBA industries knowledge and programming (Front End/Backend).
  5. Experience in soldering, conformal, selective, insertion, and SMT processes.
  6. Deep understanding of manufacturing industries (data integration or analysis of center products is a plus).
  7. Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards related to electronic manufacturing.
  8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  9. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
