National Channel Partner Business Developer

Sandvik is seeking a seasoned National Channel Partner Business Developer to join our team in Mexico.
The estimated salary for this role is between 220,000 and 280,000 MXN per annum, depending on experience.
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled professional to develop and maintain strategic relationships with key channel partners in Mexico. As a National Channel Partner Business Developer, you will be responsible for increasing sales of Sandvik products and services, executing effective sales and marketing strategies, and improving our position in assigned key accounts.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing relationships at all levels of key accounts
- Actively contributing to plans and programs that increase effectiveness and grow sales and market share consistent with Sandvik expectations in key accounts
- Growing relationships with strategic contacts of key accounts
- Executing the appropriate channel partner programs with assigned key accounts
- Liaising between key account company members, field sales, and WMX resources
- Developing and recommending programs and practices, including discounts, related to key account development
- Implementing training programs for channel partner key accounts in coordination with the Walter Mexico Training Manager
- Maintaining close working relationships with the Sandvik Marketing organization and actively assisting in the development and support of marketing product programs and activities
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills of a business and technical nature
- The ability to negotiate successfully
- The ability to give effective presentations in front of diverse audiences
- The ability to communicate and conduct business in English
- Computer skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office Products, CRM, and be an advocate for Walter Express and GPS
- An understanding of manufacturing procedures, finances, and logistics
- A high level of integrity and the ability to conduct themselves in a professional manner
- Experience in a manufacturing or distribution marketplace
- Experience in working independently from a home office or virtual office environment, and traveling a significant amount of time
- Excellent organizational skills and time management skills
- Key accounts commercial experience, preferably in industrial products and services
- Demonstrated ability to work well with others and function in a team environment
- A college degree
