About the Role
The HR Generalist will collaborate with the Regional HR Business Partner to implement strategic initiatives that drive continuous improvement, enhance employee engagement, and provide positive business results for the South and North of LATAM region. Key responsibilities include:
- Being the first point of contact for all HR-related queries in the region
- Executing operational and project-based work across various HR programs, such as the annual performance review cycle, talent management initiatives, engagement, training, and payroll and benefits processes
- Supporting the annual bonus and merit increase schemes
- Supporting hiring plan processes, including post job requisitions, managing relationships with third-party recruitment partners, coordinating selection processes, planning and organizing interview schedules, and preparing to hire
- Coordinating and planning for employee onboarding, organizing and conducting new employee orientations
- Supporting the identification of employees' training needs, booking training, and maintaining accurate completion of training records
- Supporting the preparation of budget files and analyzing employees' costs and movements that affect the budget
- Monitoring employee morale and company culture
- Ensuring the relevant HR database is up-to-date, accurate, and compliant with legislation
- Supporting the management of benefits vendors by managing benefits renewals and coordinating events (wellness, social responsibility/voluntary work)
- Supporting the implementation of HR policies and practices
- Supporting internal stakeholders in HR Audit processes
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Business Administration
- Minimum of 7 years of work experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in a multinational organization, with experience in payroll and benefits management, talent acquisition, and HR processes (onboarding, annual review, salary campaign)
- Employment relations experience, including conducting investigations and resolution development
- Ability to take initiative to improve processes as needed
- Organized, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Aptitude for critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal), with an ability to build partnerships and establish rapport and credibility at all levels
- Strong ethics and confidentiality skills
- Culturally aware, with an understanding of different perspectives of working with a diverse workforce that recognizes and respects diversity
- Advanced/Fluent in English and Spanish
- Experienced Microsoft Office user (mainly Excel)
