We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow System Analyst to fortify our ServiceNow development team.
About the RoleThis position will manage highly complex business problems to be solved with automated systems, overseeing the development of software-as-a-service (SaaS) and enterprise-wide applications associated with data collection, retrieval, accessibility, and usage for internal department planning and activities.
The ideal candidate will develop mission-critical process flows and solutions for business problems, managing complex configuration, setup, and updating of applications, including table definitions and access control.
Responsibilities- Manage highly complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.
- Oversee the development of software-as-a-service (SaaS) and enterprise-wide applications.
- Develop mission-critical process flows and solutions for business problems.
- Manage complex configuration, setup, and updating of applications.
- Oversee validity of data entered into established tables, fields, and system databases.
- Manage extension designs and tailored solutions required for aligning packaged applications with business scenarios.
- Build and produce complex reports using query and flexible reporting tools to meet the requirements of business management and staff.
- May manage set up and managing user access and training users on application.
- Manage implementation of changes in applications development, maintenance, and system standards.
- Provide timely resolution of problems or escalation on behalf of customers.
- Oversee system upgrades, including planning and scheduling, coordination, and deployment.
- Oversee availability and performance of systems and application environments through proactive as well as reactive analysis and maintenance.
- Lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.
- Bachelor's Degree required. Advanced Degree preferred.
- 12+ years of experience.
- Candidates with 7+ years of experience will be considered if they have combined experience with ServiceNow administration, development, and/or Product Ownership along with relevant experience in IT operations and/or delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage end-user issues.
- Subject matter expert with technical applications/solutions.
- Ability to lead teams collaboratively.
- Overseeing highly complex issues and applying advanced root cause analysis.
- Subject matter expert on applicable IT systems/applications.
- Ability to design highly complex systems and tools.
- Oversees management and strategy of documentation processes.
- Advanced analytical skills.
- Strategize IT solutions.
- Highly experienced in effectively providing direction to manage in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to identify and manage process improvements.
$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
